I've been working on another website from somebody else that hired me! This is so exciting! :D Plus: I made myself some business cards. They're shiny, glossy, and.. shiny! Oh, and as a bonus, I made myself a lego business card holder.
You can check out the site I've been working on at www.blakesofa.net!
Should I get an iPod Shuffle or iPod touch?

My portfolio!
As my previous post stated, I got a job!
Well, I have finished that job, and set up an online portfolio so people can see my work. Hopefully this will bring in more jobs.

I got a job!
In my previous post I mentioned how I got a job, well... If you would like to see it (it's in the workings), go to www.mybasketkase.com - I'm still working on the design and such, so it's just the default Wordpress theme right now. >_< But yea, it's going to be a site about basket weaving. Funky.
On a side note: (I like doing side notes don't I...) Do any of you have ideas of what I could do for the poll?

Tech Vlogging
If I were to do a few videos every so often about tech or reviews, would this be of interest to any of you? I probably won't be able to find the time to do videos much, but occasionally.

English Essay - Computers
Today I had to do an English essay about any topic I wished, I chose computers. Since this is my blog, I decided I would post it here. If you were the teacher, what would you grade me?
General topic: computers
Limited subject: computer companies, connections, and examples
List of ideas:
- Fire wire
- USB
- Monitors
- Software
- Keyboards
- Mice
- Major companies
- Largest Supercomputer in the world
Statement of purpose (thesis):
Computers are a very important part of our daily lives. I plan to show some interesting facts about computers and give you some neat examples.
Outline:
- Introduction
- The largest monitor
- The largest computer
- Major computer companies
- IBM
- Hewlett Packard
- Verizon
- Dell
- Microsoft
- Intel
- Motorola
- Sprint
- Canon
- Ingram Micro
- Computer connections
- VGA
- DVI
- HDMI
- Computer transfer protocols
- SCSI
- Firewire
- USB
- Summary
- How powerful compared to the first computers
- What we might see in the future
The largest and highest resolution “monitor” in the world has 55 high-resolution displays hooked up all-together to make screen with up to 220 million pixels in resolution.
The largest supercomputer in the world in named BlueGene/L, and as I am writing this, it has 73728 GB of memory. It was made by IBM—one of the major computer companies—and it is used to make possible science simulation of unprecedented detail for NNSA’s tri-lab Advanced Simulation and Computing (ASC) Program.
There are many types of connections and ways to hook up different devices. Monitors use connections named VGA, DVI, and HDMI. Currently, HDMI has the highest quality; to my knowledge, there really is no difference in quality, in most cases, between VGA and DVI. The connection names are actually acronyms for longer names. VGA means Video Graphics Array, DVI means Digital Video Interface, and HDMI means High Definition Multimedia Interface.

Purchased an Apple Keyboard
I don't own a Mac, but I do love the keyboard. So today, I decided since I needed to buy a keyboard, and the Apple keyboard was the most comfortable out of all of them--I would buy it!
